This book didn’t really get going until half way in, so I didn’t want to keep picking it back up. I found the story slow at the start and I just wanted more to happen. However, it must be said it is a well written rom com style book and is a lovely comfort read when you need a pick me up.

I liked the premise of the story, as it’s quite different. A missed connection on the London Underground rediscovered through a Missed Connections section of a newspaper. The story has small, quick chapters going between Nadia and Daniel’s perspective of their love journey and what they are going through at that time.

I loved the character of Daniel, he is a true romantic who respects women and has a close relationship with his family and is a good friend. I think everyone can relate to Nadia too, a lot of people have had a relationship where your confidence has been knocked and you’ve had to pick yourself up again. Daniel and Nadia’s paths keep nearly crossing until they eventually do at the end of the book.
A solid 3🌟 read.
