This was a really sweet book and the first romance I've read! It surprised me that I actually found reading it pretty enjoyable and was rooting for the characters to get together in the end. I appreciate that this book was able to avoid many common tropes that are often seen in romance novels which gave this particular one a fresh feeling. On top of that, it's a quick, light read which is perfect for summertime reading.
I wouldn't say that this book is particularly memorable or really interesting but for a romance it does exactly what it says on the tin. For me it didn't need to be gripping or thrilling; I was expecting a light-hearted romance and that is exactly what I got.
I've recommended this book to some of my more romance-loving friends and it's probably a great start for anyone new to the romance genre who wants to get into reading some more of it.
