I’m not really a great lover of the chick-lit genre but there are some authors, such as Sophie Kinsella, who are an exception. I hoped this would be one too but it really wasn’t.
Basically, this novel is about Nadia and David who are, apparently, supposed to be together and how they keep missing their chances.
The book is sweet enough, so I did find myself hoping for a happy ending I thought was inevitable from the beginning but that was honestly where my enthusiasm ended.
I really couldn’t see much that was original about this, and frankly, I think I would have liked it more if some of the pointless passages had been removed.
This is definitely not without enjoyable sections, I just think it may have worked better as a short story
