I loved the idea of this book and it reminded me of a recent book that I loved - The Flat Share. Unfortunately I just compared it to this book throughout which means I did not have a very good Reading this experience.
I could not connect to the characters - I really did not like the main one. I found it too easy to put down and didn’t want to pick it back up. I hated the chance meetings, I know it’s a story but it’s so far from realistic.
I did however really enjoy the ending which is a shame because I’d already decided that this book was not for me. Had I not read and other books similar I probably would have had a better time reading this book.
Contemporary books are normally not my thing so please pick this book up and give it s go for yourself!
