Our Stop by Laura Jane Williams tells the story of Daniel Weissman, a consultant engineer, and Nadia Fielding, who works in artificial intelligence. They both catch the underground train at a similar time in the mornings. Well, Nadia starts the week with good intentions but is usually running late as the week goes on!
Daniel has had his eye on Nadia for a while but she hasn't noticed him as she's too busy checking her phone and spilling coffee on her outfit! Daniel posts an advert in the 'Missed Connection' column of the free paper and, with some help from her friends, Nadia recognises herself! What follows is a will they, won't they tale of missed meetings and miscommunications.
A fun, light if predictable read but one that I'd recommend to others! I especially loved the front cover – very appropriate and eye catching!
