This extract was a nice beginning of a cute rom com novel. It tells of two Londoners in the search for love. The characters are likeable and relatable and the author tells the story well through alternating the chapters between the two main characters, and it is interesting to hear their different sides. Nadia seems to be a charismatic, relatable character and Daniel seems lovable and sweet. The side characters seem interesting. The story steers away from the cliche movie-type romance which I find refreshing. I liked that the story goes straight into it, with a lot of books it takes for a while for the story to actually get to the interesting/relevant parts.
Overall, this extract provided a good start to a warm, lighthearted, modern love story. I am intrigued to find out how these two will meet and what their romantic journey will be like
