Nadia gets the 7.30 train every morning, if she manages to get out of bed on time. Daniel also gets on the 7.30 train, and over the course of many commutes into London, is captivated by Nadia. In a bid to catch her attention, he places a message in the Missed Connections section of the local newspaper, setting off a chain of events that will draw him and Nadia together over the course of the year.
This book was a bit slow at first and then rushed at some points but nonetheless a great read. it felt like a perfect, summer beach read. The humour absolutely tied the knot and the chemistry between the two main characters was a big YES from me! It's a real page-turner, lots of denial and the MCs narrowly missing each other. I loved the great portrayal of men being in touch with their feelings and the down to earth nature of all the characters. Amazing choice to read if you want to get out of a reading slump!
