A cheesy love story. I was gripped, wondering what would happened next for the first 100 pages or so. After this I felt that the story line dragged out and I got frustrated when the antagonists kept missing opportunities to meet. It was a lighthearted read that didn’t cause pain to read but I felt there was a lot of information in the middle that we didn’t need.
I enjoyed the nudge at Love Island that made the book seem more relatable (well as relatable as people messaging each other via news papers on a train can be). I enjoyed the ending and was left wanting to know more and felt the book would have been better had they got together sooner and we could see were they actually comparable as a couple!
