As soon as I saw this book on Instagram, I wanted to read it.
Everything about it sounded great and the cover really pulled me in.
I'm disappointed to say that, while I did enjoy Our Stop, I didnt love it as much as thought I would.
Nadia comes across as a lovely person, although her time keeping is appalling - I definitely would have thought she would have made more effort to be on time considering what she was trying to discover.
Her friends were also lovely and I liked all three of these characters very much.
Daniel came across a bit drippy!
He had annoying mates, other than Romeo who was pretty cool, and just seemed a bit pathetic and sad.
Understandable to be sad with what he had recently been through, but after a while he was grating on me.
As was the whole missed connection thing.
I get that that's what its all about but, when I got to 70% and it had felt like it was pretty much abandoned, I wondered how they were going to pull it all back.
After that point, it did improve alot and I flew through the last 30%, enjoying it so much more.
I loved the actual idea behind this story, and half of it was really good, I just felt it dipped a bit in the middle.
I would have given it 3.5 stars if I could as 3 does seem too low but 4 a but too much.
