I really enjoyed this book however I felt the beginning got off to a bit of a slow start, constantly waiting for Nadia to get up at the right time to get the train was frustrating! The ending also felt a bit flat and slightly forced, it didn’t make any sense to the story. I also felt some parts were a little bit predictable (especially with nadias friends Emma and Gabby).

The story flowed well, the characters and dialogue were funny and believable. I was infuriated at all the near misses (eventhough I know that’s the point) and I read it quite quickly because I wanted Nadia and Daniel to meet so bad. Eddies character was also a shock for me, I expected not to like him but I actually felt sorry for him especially since Nadia was leading him on. The book touched on topics such as death of a loved one and psychological/emotional abuse and Laura handled these really well.
