Loved the idea and premise of this one, unfortunately I found it somewhat lacking.
I kinda liked the characters but all their near misses just started to get about ridiculous by the end of the book.
I've seen some use the term too millennial in description of the book and that summed it up pretty well for me. The language and the events surrounding everything just seemed a little too try-hard.
I found myself skimming ahead to see if they might finally meet up and then getting disappointed when it was another near miss. I've read enough to know that if I'm skimming ahead things are not looking positive. I also guessed the friends storyline pretty quickly.
I still read to the end though so the story held me just enough to keep me reading.
