Our Stop is definitely the brightest book in my collection with it’s gorgeous yellow and hot pink cover.
I really enjoyed reading this funny, heartwarming modern age love story. I found the character of Nadia really relatable and loved the references to tv shows I’ve watched and actually laughed out loud at some of the conversations her and her friends had about dates and ex partners.
I loved that the chapters switched between Nadia’s and Daniel’s points of view and that we got to know about their pasts and meet both sets of friends.
The book touched on some really important issues as well such as consent, controlling partners and bereavement and this was really sensitively written and interwoven perfectly into the rest of the story.
After the first few chapters I couldn’t put this book down and it would make a great summer read for those wanting a book to take away with them.
A must read if you still believe in true love or even if you have let too many bad dates turn you cynical.
