Overall I thought that this was a light hearted and girly read, full of laugh out loud moments and an easy to follow story line. The whole concept of the storyline was a little bit like a modern day Cinderella using emails and newspapers to communicate.
Nothing major happened but it was an enjoyable story and worth a read. The writing style was pretty simple and easy to follow and it was easy to read a big chunk at a time as the story was so easy to absorb. The main characters were likeable and relatable but I felt they lacked a bit of extra depth compared to some other chic lit books which I’ve read.
