Our stop was incredibly charming read, a fresh take on the romantic comedy genre that explores deeper issues such as toxic masculinity and consent which always a great thing to see in a genre though I love will often perpetuate these damaging stereotypes, so to have them explored in such a witty and fun way was like a breath of fresh air, I absolutely loved it!
The story follows two people Nadia and Daniel, the former missed her connection on the tube after a long night. She most definitely does not take the 7:30 train every morning but Daniel does without fail.
Initially I was worried it would go in a bit of creepy stalker type of narrative but thankfully Daniel left a note that in my opinion I would still be creeped out but very much gave Nadia the power to decide if she wanted to ask Daniel out on a date.
So if a guy left a note saying:
“To the cute girl with the coffee stains on her dress. I’m the guy who’s always standing near the doors… Drink sometime?”
Would you get that drink? A must read for all Rom com lovers!
