Wow wow wow - I just loved this! Our Stop is the perfect chiclit/romance novel for the summer. Daniel is attracted to Nadia, a woman who sometimes (when she's on time!) gets on the same train as him to work. He doesn't want to approach her on the train for fear of it seeming out of the ordinary on the tube in London. Instead he puts a note in the newspaper in the Missed Connections feature professing his attraction, yet events seem to prevent the two from meeting.

Chapters alternate between Nadia and Daniel and I loved hearing both perspectives on the story that unfolded between them. Both characters were really fun and likeable and I think that Williams did a great job at making them relatable in the modern day world. I loved that so many features of modern living were peppered throughout the writing: hinge, 'The Lust Villa', keepcups - I really appreciated these references!

As well as the attraction between Nadia and Daniel, there were various other relationships in the story that we saw develop. Daniel had a fantastic friendship with Romeo, the doorman at work, who gave him some great advice throughout. In fact all characters in the book had an important role in exploring different aspects of relationships which I thought was very effective.

Overall this was just the perfect book for me - it gripped me from the start and I absolutely sped through it. I was quite sad when it had to end - I want to know how all the characters are doing now!
