I went into this fully expecting it to be a cute romance that would get me out of a reading slump but I ended up just irritated and annoyed at the pretentiousness of the characters. I mean who can just drop everything and go away for the weekend? Also, it bordered on a line of being somewhat creepy. Daniel had seen Nadia multiple times - why couldn't he just say hello? If it had been a one time meeting, I would totally get writing the ads, but this man REPEATEDLY saw her! I just didn't get it.

I get it, it's a romance and coincidence's always happen in romances. But this many? It became a little bit unbearable. Also there was a questionable moment involving a flatmate and consent.

I will say that I did like the ads themselves. They were far more charming and sweet than the rest of the book and made me laugh multiple times. If the book had kept more of that tone throughout I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more.
