Nadia and Daniel. Two people who get the same tube to work every single day but Nadia is much too busy trying to not spill her coffee and make it to work. Whereas, Daniel has spotted her! He decides to write to Missed Connections, a feature in the newspaper.

This begins their will they won't they? romance via messages to one another. All of this is conducted via the newspaper. There are some close encounters but... it isn't successful.

This is a modern, quirky read which many of us can relate to. These two are destined to be together so we are all wanting the happy ending they deserve. It explores many themes as well - gender roles, femininity etc.

However, the characters of Nadia and Daniel are so loveable and written so well. They ended up feeling like people I knew really - I was so invested in them. Having both narratives too meant that the balanced approach also helped with creating these characters and bringing them to life. Their narratives mean that we get a front row seat with regard to the will they/won't they? debate.

This book is fun and engaging. A must have summer read!
