Predictable but fun

This is a fairly predictable, ultimately feel-good story that, in my opinion, is probably about 80 pages too long. The will-they/won't-they (when you are pretty sure that they will) aspect of the story got bogged down in unnecessary detail. In parts, the story lost a lot of pace but did manage to recover after a few pages.
On the plus side, the book had a positive ending and leaves you with a smile of your face. Also, the characters are well written and, on the whole, likeable. The alternative love interest was not all bad - but you did, on occasion, want to throttle the main character when she didn't appear to see what was in front of her. All-in-all, not a bad book but not one I will be rereading.
