I loved Our Stop from the moment I read the first page! It is a fantastic, relatable, heartwarming story, and I rushed through it so quickly!
I love Nadia’s character, she is modern, clumsy and caring. She is looking to settle down and be happy without a repeat of her previous relationship with her ex.
Then we have Daniel, who is also kind, caring and such a gentleman. The way in which the author portrays his grief of losing his father whilst trying to carry on with his life is very well written.
Ultimately I think the way in which this book is written is fantastic and I love how the chapters jump between Nadia and Daniels perspectives and it just makes you laugh! There are so many missed encounters and you are disappointed when they miss one another, and then highly hopeful they will meet when they are in the same place!
All in all this is a refreshing take on a love story, all based on a letter to a newspaper, and without the use of a dating app.
