I was so disappointed with this book! I really wanted to enjoy this book and the blurb made it sound so good. I really struggled to even finish this book, I had to force myself to keep going with it. So what was so disappointing? Almost everything!! The characters where so flat and the whole plot dragged and dragged when it didn’t need to.
The author seemed to be using buzzwords, such as feminism, women in STEM careers, men being afraid to chat to a women on the train in car she thought he was a weirdo or some kind of predator, to make her characters seem interesting but then made them almost contradict the strong characteristics she wanted them to have.
The one slightly positive point about the book was the male lead character, he was lovely and caring and wanted to be a good person, and he came across that way. The downside is the way the whole back and forth of the letters in the paper went on and on.
