Nadia and Daniel are two commuters on a London tube. Daniel has admired Nadia from afar and decides to bite the bullet and put an advert in ‘Missed Connections’ in the newspaper to try and get a date with her. What ensues is a game of cat and mouse and missed opportunities that makes the reader wonder if they will ever meet!

I loved this book. It has a hint of the film ‘Sliding Doors’ about it with the two main characters having friends trying to get them together, and fate conspiring against them! The chapters are told by both Nadia and Daniel and their friends’ advice is frequently interjected, whether wanted or not! The book is an easy read and really fun, although probably for someone younger than myself it is still a great read that will have you hooked from the start!

I really enjoyed it although it is frustrating at times! I loved the two characters as they are both likeable and engaging. The book is never boring and keeps you guessing throughout.

A fab holiday read which I thoroughly recommend!
