This is adorable. I love a romance novel, I love a good rom-com and this is it. The cheesier the better in my opinion. The TV references, the cute little friend group, even just the casual and friendly writing style grips you from the first page. Within the first 3 pages I think you get a good understanding of exactly what kind of characters you are dealing with. Nadia is fun and flirty, cheeky and a bit of a mess - which I think is a hallmark of the genre. No-one wants to read a book with a protagonist who's life is perfectly planned and always to schedule; that is boring and there is no need or want for a romance to sweep them away and fix everything. The pace is quick and it is exciting, and yet there is a depth to the story; it is not all just happy and bubbly. If you want a nice and relaxing read to cheer you up then this is definitely what you are looking for!
