The cover sets the scene well. Having read the first taste, I am rather lost with it. The author seems to be trying to cram in a bit of everything that is "now" or topical, but the script lacks veracity. The opening paragraph has the hero Steve kissing another boy whos head then explodes. The author has warned at the opening that this book contains violence, drugs and references to experiments on pregnant ladies. It seems to have a bot if everything else too!
