Not for me
I am definitely not the target readership for a "wholesome queer YA fantasy trilogy packed with magic" and I'm not sure I can imagine who is. I'm afraid I didn't get any further than the Author's Note before deciding not to read more. How could the inclusion of some of the issues mentioned in the Author's Note justify the description of the book as "wholesome"? At the risk of being "overemotional" if I could give it a zero rating I would.
