This books sounds like it will be the perfect combination of YA romance, fantasy, magical realism and humour. I love the sound of big emotions have strange and real consequences, which of course is what happens in real life - ok not head exploding but teens are dealing with such big emotions and this seems a clever way to explore this without the story being too dark or serious. Can't wait to read.
