Just a few sentences in, I was already hooked. The main character has just told the story of how at a Halloween party he kissed his crush, whose head promptly exploded (the only consolation is the fake blood disguises the real thing).
And that’s just the first paragraph. This book promises a sensitive, funny and thought-provoking read perfect for teens, YA or older, with a very unique concept and perfectly timely execution, as we are learning more and more to look after our mental health.
