First of all the cover is fun,bright and would entice anybody to pick it up.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it is a real page turner.The book is aimed at youths but as someone of the older generation I am hooked.I can not wait for the next one.
The authors style in this book makes each of the characters speak,whether it be Steven,Freya,Marcus,Troy or the agents
The book starts with Steven,having run away to a seaside place because of something that happened to him.
Freya his very best friend decides to find him and with that her boyfriend and friend decide to find her.
Steven discovers he has powers,that he can not control that is why he run away
We also discover that Steven is gay and how he comes out to his Mum and Dad.
This is a book that is funny at times and also sad.
The story is paced really well and makes you want to find out what happens next.
I thought the author wrapped the ending up well paving the way for the next book in the trilogy.
