Although I enjoyed this book and found its twists and turns gripping there was a period in the middle that just lost my interest(so I took a break from it)- am glad I stuck it out however as the ending was brilliant!

I think the hardest part for me was that each chapter is written from different peoples perspective (like the witcher series) which is fine if you read it in quick succession but if, like me, took a break you find it hard to pick back up.

A perfect book for young adults in terms of topic as it shows how to deal with strong emotions and grounding techniques (in the guise of x-men style powers and fidget coins/tools). It shows that its ok to feel no matter who you are and that you can express what your feel without being fearful. Certainly a good book for the YA audience who like superpowers, unsuspecting heros and hidden villains. No spoilers but you wont see the bad guy coming!
