Apparently the world is waiting for my opinion and I don't really have much to say on the matter. The book was a bit blah for me. The story started off interesting enough, and all the characters have something about them that could potentially keep you interested, but it wasn't enough in my eyes.
The main character has developed some magic powers which he is struggling to manage, coupled with the fact that he is gay and hasn't come out to anyone yet, although everyone knows he is. You've then got his best friend who is a neurotic woman whose boyfriend is a bit of an idiot and finally you have an American chap who fancies the pants off of the main character but is too shy to say anything. Basically a lot of teenage angst and hormones with a load of magic and FBI/MI5 thrown in. Completely unbelievable and unrealistic but someone out there will love it.
