As an adult reader who really enjoys young adult fiction I thoroughly enjoyed the book and really felt a connection to the characters and the storyline. I also felt a deep connection to the characters. One of the things I absolutely loved about "Overemotional" is how it beautifully portrays queer relationships in such a funny and understanding way. The book celebrates love and explores the ups and downs of queer relationships with humor and empathy. It's refreshing to see characters that reflect the real-life experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals, and the author does a fantastic job of capturing the complexities and joys of these relationships. The funny moments add a lightness to the story, while the understanding and relatable portrayal of queer love make it even more special.
