Great start to a new fantasy series
Peregrine Quinn has a very busy mother so is taken care of by her godfather Daedalus.
She loves hearing his stories as he is an immortal so has lots of tales to tell.
She thought that's all it was, until the portal that connects her realm to the cosmic one starts to shut down.
Is it a glitch?
It it sabotage?
Only Daedalus is able to fix them, yet he has just been kidnapped.
So now it falls to Peregrine to save the day and also the realms too.
This was fast paced, fun, whacky and a cracking good story.
Cal the faun was my favourite character.
Really looking forward to reading more Perefrine Quinn adventures.
This was a great start to a brand new fantasy series.
Though more of a children's book I think this would appeal to fantasy fans of all ages, I'm a huge fan of the genre myself and definitely enjoyed it as an adult.
