This children's novel was really good. The character of Peregrine Quinn is a feisty twelve year old who has a really good relationship with her godfather. I really like the fact it is set in Oxford and the Bodleian library is in it. The adventure Peregrine goes on with her new friend Rowan is full of danger and magical happening's and is written incredibly well. They have to go to the under realm to rescue Peregrine's godfather and stop a destructive powerful goddess from escaping through a portal. The writing flows really well and the adventure is just right. I think this would appeal to a wide range of children of all ages and even a lot of adults. I love the way all the character's are written the descriptive writing is fantastic. I really like this children's novel and think it is going to be extremely popular with lots of children of all ages.
