The quality of writing is perfectly compiling and is paced well for the age group it is aimed at and for adults alike. For the adults, this has the potential of being compared with the famous discworld series. Enjoyable and full of great humoured scenes and lines. The characters are relatable and dispute their differences in mythical species terms as well as characteristics, the plot allows them to forge friendships with a aim of saving the three realms from the evil discord that is threatening to invade using a secret weapon that turns out to me of the most unexpected variety. I loved all the quirky gadgets described and found the merging of mythological and technological elements fascinating. Ten out of ten for the illustrations used to complete the characters and aid the imagination. Favourite line, “the library smells like 17 species of dust mite, 83 kinds of paper and controlled moisture level and old coffee grounds” felt that was a very accurate description of some of our most beloved libraries and museums. Overall, ash bond has delivered a heroic story of cosmic proportions
