Peregrine Quinn is living a rather normal, to her dull life.
She is looked after by her eccentric Godfather Daedalus while her mother travels recording her tv shows.
They get on well and she loves his stories of his immortal life.
That's all they are of course, tall stores to entertain and amuse.
But then Peregrine is shocked to discover they aren't.
For Daedalus is called back to the Cosmic realm to solve the problem of the transportation portals, everywhere is on meltdown as travel between the Terran and cosmic realms are cancelled.
But then inexplicably Daedalus is kidnapped and only he knows how to sort the glitch.
With no one else to help it falls to Peregrine and her new friends, a faun called Cal and librarian called Rowan.
Bit is it already too late?
Can they find Daedalus in time?
This was a fun, zany and exciting Sci fi adventure.
Though aimed I'm guessing at early teen or maybe younger readers this was a great read for anyone.
