Peregrine Quin and the cosmic realm is the first in a new series of books written by Ash Bond. The main character in the story is a twelve year old girl whose name is in the title. Peregrine is a mortal girl with blond hair and pigtails and looks just like any other twelve year old girl. However, Peregrine does not have a conventional life and she is about to set off on a big adventure.
It all begins when her Godfather Daedalus Bloom goes missing , feared kidnapped, and Peregrine has to go and find him because he is needed urgently, and she is worried about his safety. Daedalus is an immortal who is so old that he can remember Stonehenge being built. He is also an expert on growing and caring for plants.
Peregrine`s adventure begins in Oxford , takes us for a trip down the river Thames and then we end up under the City of London. Along the way we meet a lot of really strange creatures who all have their part to play in the story.
