This book is aimed at 9 to 14 years old but I think it would be liked by children above that age or even adults, I quite enjoyed it.
My nephew and I read it together, he is 11 and he throughly enjoyed it, even asked if there would be others.

I found the maps in it were quite useful as it does go quickly from one place to another and the illustrations of the characters were wonderful.
