Ooo this is a bit of a tease… it’s like a door just slightly ajar, a glimpse of light just sliding through or a chocolate cake sitting on the side waiting for afters… I want it… not just a slice, but all of it; the whole thing in one glorious burst. Reading isn’t for me about cosy childhood memories but it is about indulging all my senses from the physical book to the magical places waiting to transport me away. The history of reading?
