The cover of this book reflects, for me, the content. An open book as a source of flaming light in a dark world. Ir grabbed my attention straight away, as did the first few lines. Not so long ago it was predicted that the electronic book would kill off paper books - which it obviously has not - and why? Because we love books as things, not only as a medium to impart thoughts concepts and ideas, and also, of course entertainment. Emma Smith writes "All books are magic" - and I agree, and "Books are powerful and dangerous in the wrong hands". I must read this book and then discuss it with my sister - can't wait.
