I thought that this was an interesting book. As a fan of non fiction, I was excited to read a book on the history of books and their readers. It was not one hundred percent what I was expecting, but it was interesting nonetheless.
I found the writing to be easy to read and understand, which you do not always get with non fiction books. The writing flowed nicely, and I read it rather quick when sometimes non fiction can be quite longwinded and take a long time to get through.
I did find some parts of the book to be maybe unnecessarily long, perhaps could have been covered in fewer pages. But all the information was interesting and I learnt a lot of new information from it.
It is definitely an intriguing idea to follow, and I thought that it was executed well. It was not boring, and actually quite entertaining to read. I love the book cover, it really stands out and is intriguing.
