I was so excited to win a copy of this book but sadly I have struggled to read it and haven't managed to get past the first 3 chapters so have given up on it.
It's not because it is poorly written because it is actually very well written. It has obviously been very well researched too and is full of facts about books and explains the history of book production and how books went from being something only the very rich could afford to own, to being widely available and affordable to most people today.
I just didn't find the book very interesting but I think that is more because of my own personal preferences regarding the books I read as I think other readers will love this book.
I don't read a lot of non-fiction books and thought this one might be okay as it is about books but alas I have really struggled to read the few chapters that I have. It's a lovely book and I'm going to pass it on to my sister-in-law who might enjoy it more than I have.
