Seven years on from Gerry's death Holly has been able to move on with her life. She has a new man, Gabriel, who she is on the point of moving in with. As a favour to her sister, she hosts a podcast on "How to talk about death" at her sister's charity shop. One of the regulars, a rich lady called Angela likes the talk and badgers Holly afterwards to the point that she avoids her. Holly is left and envelope by Angela that doesn't get opened for a few days and it contains a card that simply reads The PS I love you club. She phones Angela, furious that she has called her club that, only to be told that she has passed away from cancer.
