I wasn't overly fond of PS I Love You, so entered into reading this extract with trepidation, but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. There is still absolutely the saccharine notes of clichéd romantic novel about it but the event at the end of the extract actually made me want to find out what happened. It's not as straight forward in terms of feelings as the first, would probably read the whole thing.
