When I read the the opening pages of this sequel to PS. I Love You (which I haven't read) I found it difficult to feel any real engagement with any of the characters. I think this was because it was so obviously a sequel and so I constantly found myself wondering what had gone before. Some sequels can work as stand-alone stories but I'm not convinced that this one would for me. However, it's clear that the first book delighted many readers so I'll leave the way clear for them in this latest draw!
