I thought I'd read the first impression of this book, as I know it is from a very popular author. But I really didn't like the book, I'm not a fan of silly romances. The description of the 'metamorphosis' absolutely lost me. Instead of taking an emotional subject and writing about it honestly and simply, the flowery descriptions read to me like absolute tosh. There are many books that have dealt with this issue in a better and more sensitive way, this is not one of them.
