I didn't know what to expect from this book. Having loved the original, which felt like hallowed ground that didn't need to be or shouldn't have been touched I was apprehensive about a sequel.
The writing is sympathetic and although, even within the first impression, the pace is quite slow we're thrust back into how Holly is coping with her loss years later.
I can't say I was hooked but I would love to keep reading to see where Ahern is taking this one.
