This is a story of love and loss because the heroine in the story has lost the love of her life to a terminal illness. But when this story starts, it is some time since Holly lost her husband and had to face life as a young widow. She is doing well and moving on until events in her life started to bring back old feelings and memories. Before her husband died, he left a series of notes for Holly to find long after his death.
Part of the moving on process for Holly was to work in her sister`s vintage charity shop. The sister would hold open evenings in her shop and she also created a podcast. Unfortunately Holly was the subject of the podcast and she had to record a message of how she coped with losing her young husband.
