I didn't think I would enjoy this book at the start because I never would have thought there would be a sequel. But honestly, it turned out to be amazing. I always preferred the first book to the film and so I loved the development of characters and how later on the story is in the lives of the characters. Cecilia not only did this but was able to wind Gerry into the story as always but it wasn't really about him at all. a huge tear jerker but an amazing story, getting better by every page.

Cecilia immerses us once again into the life of holly 6 years later, meaning 7 years since her husband, gerry's death. holly has begun to establish her new life with her new man but her past experiences get in the way. holly aggress to support her sister, ciara, with her podcast and so speaks about her experience. in doing so, she talks about her grief and loss and others start to understand how she felt. the huge response from this podcast makes holly uncomfortable, especially when there is a club involved.

the PS I Love You Club, hence the title, is a group set up by strangers who want holly involved in their last few weeks, months and even years of their lives. Hollys instinct, of course, is to refuse and so when she finally agrees, she must work quick before it's too late.
