I am a huge fan of PS I Love You and I couldn’t wait to start reading this book. Cecelia Ahern has done a brilliant job of capturing Holly’s life 7 years after losing Gerry and I really found her story touching and very emotional. It was lovely seeing Holly heal and move forward with her life and start a new relationship. I also loved hearing about Sharon and Denise and loved that although the book has continued a few years down the line, it is still so true to the previous storyline that I could easily pick up where we left off with this lovely trio.

I was so engrossed reading all about the PS I Love you club and the journey they went on together. I had some reservations about it at first but I was won over by the beautiful characters of the club but I have to admit, the story of Genika and Jewel captivated my heart. This part of the book was utterly beautiful, but it had me sobbing….a lot!!

Overall, it was a beautifully written book and completely won me over. If you loved PS I Love You then you are in for a treat!

Trigger Warning: I found this book very emotional and at times and it took me a very long time to read as I needed breaks in between chapters to process my emotions. I think this is largely down to me dealing with loss in the family rather than the book being too emotional to read. Because of this, I would be careful before reading this as although it is a beautiful book, it could trigger a lot of emotions like it did for me.
