Unfortunately I have had to leave this book as a dnf. It has took me over a month just to get halfway and I honestly just don't know if this book is for me. I feel awful but I also didn't finish the first book and I think it is partly because I watched the movie first but also because it just didn't grab my attention or bring any excitement to keep reading on. The same happened with this book, I felt like I was reading it just to keep going but I wasn't really enjoying it. There was no urge to keep picking it up so I found myself putting it down a lot. I know many love these books so I think I definitely have an unpopular opinion and that if you enjoyed the first book you will probably love this! To be completely honest I just found it to be pretty boring and I'm not sure if the first book needed a follow up. I might come back to it in the future and if I do I will most certainly update my thoughts on it as opinions can change, but for now I have to put this down and move onto something that I am going to be more excited to read.
