The story follows on from the prequel 'P.S. I Love You'. Set six years later, Holly is in a new relationship and, after nagging from her sister, agrees to speak publicly about her husband's death and the letters. This sets off a chain of events which forces Holly to re-examine the letters; the effect they had on her and her late husband's motivations for writing them as she works out how to support others in ceating similar legacies for their loved ones.

I found the story heartwarming and emotional. The relationships formed between Holly and the other characters in the book (particularly Ginika) are portrayed with real depth and warmth. A story that encourages readers to reflect on the importance of the relationships in your life and the legacy you would like to leave behind.
